Radley Village Shop is a convenience store, newsagent and off-licence offering a range of basic essentials, but with an emphasis on higher quality and local produce wherever possible. The Shop is a community co-operative run by a team of some 40–50 volunteers led by a paid shop manager. It offers:
- Groceries, household items and toiletries
- Chilled and frozen items
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Soft drinks, ice-creams, sweets and crisps
- Local produce
- Hot bakes and filled sandwiches
- Newspapers and magazines (sorry the Shop doesn’t deliver but you can reserve a copy for collection)
- Off-licence and cigarettes
- Greetings cards and stationery
- Books of 1st and 2nd class stamps
- Hot drinks to take away
- Cashback
The Shop supports the community in many ways, including giving grants from its profits to village organisations and acting as a community hub.
Its continued success depends on your support – as a customer, volunteer or member.
