Radley Parish Litter Pick
Road Closure
3rd March: Temporary Road Closure at Radley, Sugworth Lane (near junction of Kennington Road) will operate on 03 March 2025. This will operate between 08:00 and 17:00 to facilitate installation of new speed limit signs and posts along with carriageway lining.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.
Council tax for 25-26
The Parish Council is keenly aware of the pressure on household budgets and has set its own budget for 25-26 so that the Parish Council element of the Council tax for a Band D property will increase by less than £3.
This will go towards paying for the upkeep of Gooseacre including the play area, the allotments, car park and pond, the lower graveyard, insurances, rents, litter collection and staff costs. We hope that the next financial year will see completion of the community building on the Lawns and significant progress on redeveloping the village hall and replacing the playground.
