New Councillor
Unfortunately, Bridget Griffiths has withdrawn from becoming a councillor for Radley Parish Council. There are two councillor vacancies, if you are interested in understanding more about the role or would like to visit a Parish Council meeting to get a feel of what happens then please contact the Clerk.
New Radley Parish email addresses
From the 1st February Radley Parish Council will be moving to new gov.uk email addresses. We will be updating the Radley Parish website – radleyparish.gov.uk – and all our correspondence with the new contact information.
Lawns Community Building
The Building Regulations application has been submitted, and we hope to have approval by the end of January. Once consent has been granted, we will move to tendering for the groundwork elements of the project. A planning application has been submitted for a canopy which has been designed by an artist to be installed at the front of the building. This will be paid for from developer contributions which have been made to the District Council.
Radley Large Wood
Radley Parish Council has been corresponding with St Hilda’s College about residents’ concerns of the felling works being carried out at Radley Large Wood. The Friends of Radley Large Wood are holding a public meeting at the Kennington Village Centre on the 4th February at 7.30pm and they have extended the invite to St Hilda’s College to come along and speak.
