The Radley Flower Show is a long-standing village tradition, with the first show being held in 1899. The scope of the show originally was for flowers, fruit and vegetables, but over the years has expanded to include arts and crafts, photography, baking, and categories for children and teenagers. It is a fun; family friendly community event and the aim is for adults and children to showcase their hobbies and to join in and have a go. It is not like the Chelsea Flower Show or Bake Off! It is for amateurs to compete and have fun.
In 2024 the Flower Show was held in conjunction with the Radley Primary School Summer Fete for a joint community event, and the profits raised were donated to the Friends of Radley Primary School charity for the playground fundraising campaign.
The Flower Show Event will not be held in 2025
