Grass Verges

The Lower Churchyard, the play area and village hall frontage were all cut the week commencing 3rd June. The verges have been cut around the edges and that will continue until around the end of August when it will be cut  and what’s left taken away. In future years, the perimeter will be cut earlier in the season.

We are aware that some of the grown grass verges may cause poor visibility at some road junctions. If you come across this please can you report via Fix My Street, using the category for grass and hedges.

We have been notified by OCC that they are seeking your views on the proposal to introduce various highway improvement measures in Kennington & Radley in support of the ‘A34 Lodge Hill Interchange’ improvement scheme. Please note this is reconfirming current speed limits and is independent of the 20mph which will be consulted on later in the year. Please check the Radley Village website for details.
