MEMBERS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO A MEETING OF RADLEY PARISH COUNCIL which will be held on 23 February 2023 in Church Room, Radley at 7.30pm to transact the business set out below.

  Councillors who are unable to attend should inform the clerk by 2pm on the day of the meeting, stating the reason for their absence.

b.     TO RAISE Radley Lakes Trust proposed supervised nature walks and Parish Council agreement with landowner.

7.2 STRATEGIC SITES:

NW Radley: TO HEAR any updates

·       TO NOTE two planning application amendment, on application P22/V1422/FUL.

S Kennington: TO HEAR any updates

·       TO REPORT Kennington are dissatisfied with the closure of the footpath across The Lawns and ask for the PC’s support.

7.3 THRUPP LANE:

7.4 ·       TO HEAR update ground water in Lower Radley.
INFORMATION:
7.5 Railway Network

·       TO NOTE Notice of work of Railway upgrades between Culham and Radley (file document).

   
8. FINANCIAL MATTERS:
ACTION
8.1 ACCOUNTS:

·       ACKNOWLEDGE scrutiny and acceptance of the bank statements and reconciliation (also in the file)

 
8.2 ·       TO ACKNOWLEDGE scrutiny of the invoices for payment this month and

·       APPROVE accounts for payment as itemised on the monthly cashbook (file document – to follow).

8.3 ·       TO CONSIDER Internal auditor quotes a) £425 and b) £625, background is in the file.
8.4 ·       TO CONSIDER Electronic signature process
8.5 ·       TO NOTE Decision notice of freedom of information request regarding Radley mobile home accounts.
8.6 ·       TO APPROVE transfer to Nationwide new fixed savings account (delegated to clerk with chairman and chairman of Finance)
8.7 Play area:

·       TO RECEIVE Quarterly and annual inspection reports.

·       TO NOTE the annual inspection carried out on the 13th February.

8.8 ·       TO NOTE Abingdon Marathon committee donated £200 to Radley Parish.
8.9 ·       TO NOTE The Lengthsman advises councils to consider replacing benches at Lower Radley junction in next financial year.
8.10 ·       TO CONSIDER ringfencing allocation of budget for any possible local celebrations for the coronation.
INFORMATION:
8.11 Pavilion:

·       TO NOTE approved the football club to fit locks on the changing room doors.

   
9. REPORT OF THE COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLORS:                    
ACTION
  ·       TO RECEIVE reports from the District and County councillors.

Councillors Johnston and Lugova will submit their District report in writing in advance of the meeting and receive any comments from councillors during the meeting.

   
10. HIGHWAY MATTERS:

10.1 ·       RECEIVE any reports of any highway problems for reporting.

10.2 Parish Transport

·       TO APPOINT Nicholas Lawrence as the Parish Transport representative.

10.3 Lengthsman

·       TO NOTE Work carried out by the Lengthsman:

o   Standard checks / inspections

o   College boys leaf clearance

o   Stonhouse Crescent corner pavement – Digging out the overgrown pavement and clearing the rotten fruit fall.

o   Digging inspection pits in village hall car park

o   Arranging litter picking event

10.4 Great British Spring Clean

·       TO APPROVE proposed Spring Clean plan to be carried out 17 – 19 March to include use of the Church Room for break.

11.1 ·       TO NOTE Jubilee trees planted at Radley Primary School.
