Lawns Community Building:
- NOTE the project manager’s update
- ENDORSE the appointment of a contractor to carry out a level survey and set out the site.
- APPROVE the following steps set out in CIL Budget Review Recommendations:
- Agree maximum allocation of CIL funds to this project including
- Agree a contingency pot for the Lawns Community Building Project (Rotunda).
- Agree that the Council should review the all the CIL projects and the remaining CIL funds available and discuss how they should be redistributed at the 27th February Parish Council meeting.
- The village hall committee should be asked to produce a prioritised list of work they would like carried out to bring back to the February meeting.
- APPROVE project framework and documentation recommendation
- AGREE to proceed to asking the solicitor to draft a lease with the Rotunda management CIO.
Note: For VAT reasons, the building will be let to the group at a peppercorn rent and the Council will derive no income from the building. Recommendation for a full repairing and insuring lease. |
